About the Amazing Art Studio

The Amazing Art Studio is the largest do-it-yourself art studio in the Washington D.C. area. Join us to paint Ceramics, create Mosaics, & paint Plaster. Everything you need to complete your project is here in our store. All ages and abilities are welcome.

We took over a small plaster painting store, Plaster, Paint & Party in September 2000. Our store was originally located in a small warehouse in Gaithersburg, Maryland. As our business and reputation for great service grew, we knew that we needed a bigger & better location along with more choices for our customers. The Amazing Art Studio came into existence in November 2003. The staff at our studio is here to help - this is not the typical do it yourself store. Here, we set up your supplies and are available to help - as little or as much as you need.

Directions

From South of Rockville take 270N to Rt. 28 West. Turn left on Darnestown Road, cross Great Seneca Hwy turn left into the shopping center just before Burger King.

From North of Rockville, take 270S to Shady Grove Road West. Pass Shady Grove Hospital. Turn Right on Darnestown Road, cross Great Seneca Highway and then turn left into the shopping center just before Burger King.

Friday: 10am - 7pm

Saturday: 12pm - 5pm

Sunday: 12pm - 5pm

*Adults only by appointment after 7pm on Thursday
